GRP Sectional Water Tank

(Internal Tie Rod Tank)

STANDARD:

  • Singapore Standard SS245: 1995 Cross reference to British Standard BS 7491 Part 3:1994 and BSEN 13280:2001

MATERIALS:

  • Resin – Isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin conforming to BS 3532 specification
  • Fiber Glass – Low alkali fibre glass conforming to JIS R3411 to R3417 or BS 3396, BS 3496 and BS 3749 specifications

TESTING METHOD:

  • BS 2782

MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

  • SMC Hot Pressed Compression Moulding

TANK STRUCTURAL SUPPORT:

  • External Supports:
    • Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Accessories and Fixtures
  • Internal Supports:
    • Standard Type: SS 316 Tie-Rods or Cleat / Angle Stay
    • Optional Type: SS 304 Tie-Rods or Cleat / Angle Stay

KEY FEATURE:

STAINLESS STEEL TIE RODS connecting the opposite faces of the tank to act as internal reinforcement and support the tank walls to withstand the Water pressure in the tank.

ROOF SUPPORT:

  • GRP Vertical Poles
  • GRP roof panel stiffener

SEALANT:

Nontoxic PVC foam Sealant – Saint Gobain c/w Data Sheet.

BOLT, NUTS, WASHERS:

  • External:
    • Standard: Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel
    • Optional: SS 304/A2 or SS 316/A4
  • Internal:
    • Standard: SS 316/A4 (In-contact with water)
    • Optional: SS 304/A2 (In-contact with water)

LADDERS:

  • External:
    • Standard: Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel
    • Optional: GRP or Stainless Steel
  • Internal:
    • Standard: GRP
    • Optional: SS 304 / SS 316

WATER LEVEL INDICATOR:

  • Standard: Reversed Reading Mechanical Ball Float Type with Mouse
  • Optional: Direct Reading Clear Tube Type

NOZZLE / FLANGE CONNECTIONS:

Flat panels will be provided for any type of piping connections

Internally Reinforced System

It is possible that various capacity’s design and flexible space should be used by GRP panels standardized.
Excellent water tightness, hygienic conditions and non-leakage applied internally reinforced stay (Stainless).

KEY FEATURE:

Hot Dipped Galvanized I- Beams Standing along the each vertical line of GRP Panel Flange, Interconnected by C Channels laterally and fastened to the Skid Base by I-Beam Support and Connected to the opposite faces on the roof by HDG Flat bars or Tie-Rods

COMPOSITION OF INSULATION PANEL

  • Excellent insulation of GRP Material itself with Eco-friendly Polyurethane heat insulating material prevents freeze & water condensation.
  • There is non-woven fabric with excellent adhesion inside GRP insulated panel, ensuring shape stability of panel throughout longer time periods.
  • GRP insulated panel with 4 layers structure ensures excellent insulating effect – Thickness of insulated panel: 40~50mm
